how to make links

A link can be to WebPages or to images. In this example we have made links to the latter.

To determine the URL or Address of an image, put the mouse pointer on top of the image, RIGHT click, and select "Properties..."

When you see the URL you can highlight it, and then copy it.

In one of the editable text areas below, you can paste the URL between the quotes.

Make sure you do not add any additional spaces or delete any quotation marks, etc...

then highlight & copy all of the line above and try it out in the HTML Tester.

It will give you:

this is a link

this is a link that opens in a new window

*note there is supposed to be a space between jpg" and target

you can change it to

<a href="http://digitalglobe.com/gallery/iraq/" target="Mr.Bubbles">I don't eat Brie anymore.</a>

it works the same.
